Rules and Regulations

(2026 Season)

 

 

1. Membership Fees

  • 2026 monthly fee: R700 per month.
  • First month (2026): R1 400 (double).
  • Last month (2026): R 1 400 by end of November (double) to cover November and December fees and fund the year end awards ceremony.

  • 12 month commitment – fees are non refundable and must be paid regardless of attendance, illness, or any other reason.

 

2. Travel Consent

  • Parents/guardians grant permission for the player to travel with the club to all games and trips.

 

3. Cancellation

  • One calendar month notice required via email.
  • Current month + next month fees must be paid, plus any outstanding balances.
  • No cancellation after 15 August 2025 – full fees for January – December remains payable.
  • No refunds: overpayments may be allocated to future months or trips.

 

4. Kit Orders

  • Kit size orders cannot be returned unless supplier error.
  • Parents/players must verify all information before ordering, no complaints for errors after ordering.
  • All kits for 2026 must be purchased through the club website.

  • Training kit issued upon receipt of first month’s double payment.

 

5. Parents Meetings

  • Minutes of every parent meeting must be circulated within 48 hours to the official WhatsApp group.

  • Resolutions adopted override any prior decisions, contracts, or club policies.
  • Absence from a meeting does not permit dispute of adopted resolutions.

 

6. Indemnity

  • Parents/guardians indemnify and hold harmless Orchards United FC, its management, coaches, and staff against all claims arising from Covid 19, other viruses, sickness, accident, injury, death, or property loss/damage occurring on club premises, during club activities, or travel related to club events.

  • Loco parentis: Staff act in place of a reasonable parent and exercise appropriate control over players.

  • No liability for injury/death resulting from breach of club rules by the player.

 

7. Emergency Medical Consent

  • Parents/guardians authorize club management or coaching staff to consent to emergency medical treatment (including anaesthesia and surgery) in loco parentis when necessary.

 

8. Medical Expenses

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for all medical and hospital costs incurred due to injury or illness.

 

9. Safety

  • Staff and designated drivers conduct safety checks and precautions to ensure player wellbeing.

  • Note: These rules apply to all 2026 season members and supersede any prior versions unless expressly stated otherwise.
